Michelle studied cosmetology at Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado and received her license in 2020 Immediately following, she attended International Salon and Spa Academy where she focused on barbering. While in school, Michelle especially enjoyed learning creative cutting techniques and continues to develop her cutting skills.
Strengths/Specialties:
Michelle has great attention to detail and loves to create looks that result in a satisfied client. She is eager to learn and enjoys the education that Salon Nuuvo provides. Michelle is excellent at building relationships with each and every Salon Nuuvo client and thrives on creating looks that put smiles on faces.
Hobbies:
Michelle has been skiing and snowboarding since she was just 3 years old! She is athletic and has participated in many sports. She enjoys fashion, music, and great food!
Fun Facts:
Since Michelle is new to California, she enjoys exploring the many sights of The Golden State. She enjoys the beach, hiking, and taking in the sunshine.

Michelle’s favorite Nuuvo Haircare product is the Texture Taffy. Since Michelle recently cut her hair to a sassy, short style, she loves how the Texture Taffy provides volume and a piecey look to her chic style.

Lucy is originally from Thousand Oaks and was a student at Paul Mitchell the School in Sherman Oaks.
Strengths/Specialties:
As a “curly girl” herself, Lucy specializes in curly hair and curl care, as well as color matching and fashion colors.
Hobbies:
In her free time, Lucy enjoys cooking delicious meals, rewatching old sitcoms and hanging out with her 2 year old cat, Ruby.
Fun Facts:
Lucy has been coloring her own hair fun colors since she was 9 years old. She also has a chinchilla named Buddha!

Lucy’s favorite Nuuvo Product is Bounce Back because of how moisturizing it is for her locks while also retaining the bounce and shape of her natural curl!
Education/Background:
Anna is currently attending Paul Mitchell Sherman Oaks. Ever since she was a kid she has been creative and dyed her hair crazy colors. Anna would often experiment on her own hair as well as my friends. She quickly learned it was her passion and began to pursue it as a career.
Strengths/Specialties:
Anna’s strengths are in fashion colors and blonding. She loves the chemistry behind it and having to really think about the color wheel in hair.
Hobbies:
Anna loves to draw and paint. Anything crafty or working with her hands has always been her strong suit. She picks up hobbies pretty quickly, and is always testing the next creative thing she can find.

Anna speaks fluent Russian!

Anna’s favorite Nuuvo Product is the Untamed Texture Spray. She loves a fuller, shaggy look and I feels it’s the perfect product to add “oomph” to any style!
Education/Background: From early on, Kyla found a passion for art and beauty. Kyla pursued this passion and attended the Cosmetology program at Paul Mitchell the School in Sherman Oaks. She graduated and received her Board of Barbering & Cosmetology License in 2021.
Strengths/Specialties: Kyla has a love for making clients feel good about themselves. She enjoys both womens and mens haircutting, and the transformation that goes with it. Kyla’s warm and caring nature makes her clients feel welcome and nurtured during each Salon Nuuvo Experience!
Hobbies: Kyla enjoys camping, kayaking, outdoor concerts, traveling, and creating jewelry and artwork.
Fun Facts: In her spare time, Kyla loves creating beautifully detailed handmade jewelry using crystals and stones, and even sells her gorgeous earrings at Salon Nuuvo.
Favorite Nuuvo Product and why: Kyla’s favorite Nuuvo Haircare product is the Black Clay and Charcoal Detox Mask. It detoxifies hair while hydrating and repairing! It makes your hair and scalp feel so clean and nourished.
Education/Background: Maddie attended Cosmetology at the Simi Valley Institute of Careers and Education in 2019 where they were trained in front desk reception as well as learning color, cut, and styling techniques. Maddie’s love for hair makes them love working in an environment with like-minded people like Salon Nuuvo! Their dream is to eventually work in film doing hair and makeup on set.
Strengths/Specialties: One of Maddie’s biggest strengths is their calm, caring nature, and the ability to make each guest feel at home when they visit Salon Nuuvo.
Fun Facts: Maddie loves to change their hair often and has tried every hair color in the rainbow, as well as having every hairstyle and cut!
Hobbies: Maddie loves to read and write. They are almost always consuming some kind of literature. They love being out in nature with a good book. Maddie has also recently been trying to pick up crochet.
Favorite Product and why: Maddie’s favorite Nuuvo Haircare product is Nourishing Shampoo, it does an amazing job of cleansing the hair without drying it out or stripping any of their fun hair colors.
Education/Background: While attending Lu Ross Academy, Stephany found a passion for color education and perfecting balayage techniques.
Strengths/Specialties: Stephany loves everything about color, but her favorite thing about hair coloring is the transformation. She is excited to grow outside of color! Stephany is very creative with social media and creates much of the content used for the Salon Nuuvo Instagram page.
Fun Facts: Stephany loves the beach, and traveling. She has traveled to multiple countries in Europe, and she can not wait to go back!
Hobbies: Stephany loves to surf in her free time.
Favorite Product and why: Stephany’s favorite Nuuvo Haircare product is the Untamed Dry Texture spray because it gives instant volume and light hold while also refreshing the hair and soaking up oils like a dry shampoo!
Education/Background: Alex graduated from Paul Mitchell the school of Sherman Oaks in 2016 , and has since assisted at various high-end salons perfecting her skills. Alex has also worked as an on-set stylist for the tv show “Say Yes to the Prom” in 2016. She was also part of the traveling design team a PMTS.
Strengths/Specialties: As a hairstylist, Alex loves to do color, especially blonding and highlights. She also loves to perform long layered haircuts. Alex enjoys doing bombshell blowouts and styling. She loves connecting with guests and making them feel beautiful.
Hobbies: Alex enjoys playing in competitive video game tournaments. She is a big fan of League of Legends, and Fortnite. She ranked 3rd place in the entire world on Garden Scapes.
Fun Facts: Alex is a huge WWE Wrestling Fan and knows every single name of the Wrestling Superstars. Alex is also very interested in learning about history and is studying to become an Archaeologist.
Favorite Nuuvo Product and why: Alex’s favorite Nuuvo product is Bounce Back because it makes her curls bouncy, and rejuvenated without drying her hair out like other alcohol-based curling creams.
Education/Background: Courtney graduated from Paul Mitchell The School Sherman Oaks in January 2022. She has worked as an on-set hair and makeup stylist for the tv show “Kids in the Spotlight” in 2021 with The Aveda Institute of Los Angeles. Her Editorial work has been published in Goji Magazine Issue 4 Volume 2 2020, Goji Magazine Issue 5 Volume 1 2020, and Pump Magazine Fall Edition October 2021. Courtney is always looking to learn the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry. In addition to being a licensed cosmetologist, she is also certified in classic lash extensions, as well as tape-in, i-Tip, and fusion bond hair extensions.
Strengths/Specialties: Courtne
Hobbies: Courtney loves being active, camping, hiking, yoga, and dancing. Courtney has an affinity for travel and experiencing new food, music, culture, and languages.
Fun Facts: Courtney loves reading, comedy podcasts, true crime, and spending time with dogs.
