Education/Background: Erick began his Cosmetology journey at West Valley Occupational Center, continuing on to California State University, San Bernardino where he obtained a degree in marketing as well as Psychology. He’s now advancing his craft through Nuuvo University, where he’s personally assisting Salon Nuuvo’s Founder/CEO, Raychel, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship at the highest level.
Strengths/Specialties: Erick has a natural talent for creating seamless, beautiful hair. He loves working on blowouts, roller sets, dimensional color, balayage, and long layered cuts that make hair look effortlessly stunning.
Hobbies: When he’s not in the salon, Erick enjoys knitting, cooking, and making scarves (yes, he’s just as creative outside the salon as he is behind the chair!).
Fun Facts:Erick is a true animal lover with a big heart—he has a farm with over 20 animals, including a pig named Muñeca, which means “Doll” in spanish!

Education/Background: Born and raised in Fillmore, CA, Iliana started her career journey with an AA in Natural Science from Moorpark College before following her passion for beauty. She attended Simi Institute’s Cosmetology Program and became a licensed stylist in March 2025.
Strengths/Specialties: Iliana has a natural love for styling hair—whether it’s with a curling iron, blow dryer, or anything in between. She enjoys helping guests find the best products for their hair type and making sure their at-home care routine is perfectly tailored to them.
Hobbies: When she’s not behind the chair, Iliana loves watching movies and baking delicious desserts from scratch.

Born in Aiken, South Carolina, I graduated from Wagener-Salley High School with a Cosmetology Certificate. I later moved to Santa Cruz, California, where I earned my associate’s degree in Liberal Arts. Eventually, I relocated to Los Angeles and renewed my cosmetology license at Santa Monica College. My greatest achievements are my two wonderful boys.

I excel in connecting with people and have an insatiable eagerness to learn. I love exploring different techniques and ideas, incorporating them into my skill set. I enjoy men’s haircuts, ensuring each cut is tailored to the individual. I also love doing color for both men and women. Heidi was born and raised in Newbury Park. Being passionate and interested in the world of beauty, Heidi attended Simi Valley Cosmetology School where she graduated and obtained her Cosmetology license 2013.

Heidi specializes in blondes, offering expert hair coloring services tailored to perfection. Her passion extends to crafting impeccable haircuts for both men and women, from basic trims to complete transformations. Heidi is also highly skilled in the art of color. Michelle studied cosmetology at Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado and received her license in 2020 Immediately following, she attended International Salon and Spa Academy where she focused on barbering. While in school, Michelle especially enjoyed learning creative cutting techniques and continues to develop her cutting skills.

Michelle has great attention to detail and loves to create looks that result in a satisfied client. She is eager to learn and enjoys the education that Salon Nuuvo provides. Michelle is excellent at building relationships with each and every Salon Nuuvo client and thrives on creating looks that put smiles on faces.

Michelle has been skiing and snowboarding since she was just 3 years old! She is athletic and has participated in many sports. She enjoys fashion, music, and great food!

Additionally, she enjoys performing Curl Cult perms, helping clients embrace beautiful curls and waves with modern techniques. Anna is currently attending Paul Mitchell Sherman Oaks. Ever since she was a kid she has been creative and dyed her hair crazy colors. Anna would often experiment on her own hair as well as my friends. She quickly learned it was her passion and began to pursue it as a career.

Anna’s strengths are in fashion colors and blonding. She loves the chemistry behind it and having to really think about the color wheel in hair.
Hobbies:
Anna loves to draw and paint. Anything crafty or working with her hands has always been her strong suit. She picks up hobbies pretty quickly, and is always testing the next creative thing she can find.

Education/Background: Courtney graduated from Paul Mitchell The School Sherman Oaks in January 2022. She has worked as an on-set hair and makeup stylist for the tv show “Kids in the Spotlight” in 2021 with The Aveda Institute of Los Angeles. Her Editorial work has been published in Goji Magazine Issue 4 Volume 2 2020, Goji Magazine Issue 5 Volume 1 2020, and Pump Magazine Fall Edition October 2021. Courtney is always looking to learn the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry. In addition to being a licensed cosmetologist, she is also certified in classic lash extensions, as well as tape-in, i-Tip, and fusion bond hair extensions.

Hobbies: Courtney loves being active, camping, hiking, yoga, and dancing. Courtney has an affinity for travel and experiencing new food, music, culture, and languages.

Education/Background: Alex graduated from Paul Mitchell the school of Sherman Oaks in 2016 , and has since assisted at various high-end salons perfecting her skills. Alex has also worked as an on-set stylist for the tv show “Say Yes to the Prom” in 2016. She was also part of the traveling design team a PMTS.
Strengths/Specialties: As a hairstylist, Alex loves to do color, especially blonding and highlights. She also loves to perform long layered haircuts. Alex enjoys doing bombshell blowouts and styling. She loves connecting with guests and making them feel beautiful.
Hobbies: Alex enjoys playing in competitive video game tournaments. She is a big fan of League of Legends, and Fortnite. She ranked 3rd place in the entire world on Garden Scapes.
Fun Facts: Alex is a huge WWE Wrestling Fan and knows every single name of the Wrestling Superstars. Alex is also very interested in learning about history and is studying to become an Archaeologist.
Favorite Nuuvo Product and why: Alex’s favorite Nuuvo product is Bounce Back because it makes her curls bouncy, and rejuvenated without drying her hair out like other alcohol-based curling creams.
Education/Background: While attending Lu Ross Academy, Stephany found a passion for color education and perfecting balayage techniques.
Strengths/Specialties: Stephany loves everything about color, but her favorite thing about hair coloring is the transformation. She is excited to grow outside of color! Stephany is very creative with social media and creates much of the content used for the Salon Nuuvo Instagram page.
Fun Facts: Stephany loves the beach, and traveling. She has traveled to multiple countries in Europe, and she can not wait to go back!
Hobbies: Stephany loves to surf in her free time.

Education/Background: Maddie attended Cosmetology at the Simi Valley Institute of Careers and Education in 2019 where they were trained in front desk reception as well as learning color, cut, and styling techniques. Maddie’s love for hair makes them love working in an environment with like-minded people like Salon Nuuvo! Their dream is to eventually work in film doing hair and makeup on set.
Strengths/Specialties: One of Maddie’s biggest strengths is their calm, caring nature, and the ability to make each guest feel at home when they visit Salon Nuuvo.
Fun Facts: Maddie loves to change their hair often and has tried every hair color in the rainbow, as well as having every hairstyle and cut!
Hobbies: Maddie loves to read and write. They are almost always consuming some kind of literature. They love being out in nature with a good book. Maddie has also recently been trying to pick up crochet.
